All 58 picks of the NBA have come and gone, but Colorado Buffaloes guard Ethan Wright was not among the players selected.
Wright was a star at Princeton before heading over to Colorado, averaging around 15 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists per game his junior year. Sadly, the Ivy League didn’t play during the 2020-21 season and he had to move on right before his old team made an improbably Sweet Sixteen run in this year’s tournament.
Wright chose Boulder but had a hard time fitting into the Colorado roster. He struggled in the minutes he played, sporadic they were, and looked like a player who had been tasked with doing a lot of things at Princeton, but couldn’t get into a rhythm once he was asked to just spot-up.
