Doc Rivers is expected to return to the Los Angeles Clippers next season, despite not making the playoffs according to David Aldridge of TNT.
This news comes out on the day after the team’s season ended and rumors came about that many executives around the league felt that his days with the team were numbered.
We even just published a list this morning of possible replacements for Doc, should his time with the team come to an end. However, that all seems moot now.
League sources indicate that both Doc Rivers (Clippers) and Dave Joerger (Kings) are expected to return to their respective jobs next season, despite not making the playoffs this year.
