Vincent Kompany will hold talks with Wout Weghorst over his Burnley future at the end of the season once the Dutchman's loan spell at Manchester United ends.
Weghorst has been on-loan at the Red Devils since January after he was brought in as an emergency addition by Erik ten Hag to help ease the club's striker crisis.
He is expected to return to Burnley at the conclusion of the season with United preparing to go all-out in the upcoming transfer window to bring in a new world class striker.
