Patriots officially name Eliot Wolf executive vice president of player personnel

The New England Patriots search for a lead personnel executive has ended where many thought, as the team has officially announced Eliot Wolf as their executive vice president of player personnel.

Wolf, who previously held the title of director of scouting, was thrusted into the top role of New England’s new look front office this offseason. He led the charge through free agency and had final say during the NFL Draft, where the Patriots used the No. 3 overall pick on quarterback Drake Maye.

Wolf has been joined by director of player personnel Matt Groh, along with head coach Jerod Mayo, senior personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith, director of pro scouting Steve Cargile, director of college scouting Camren Williams, and senior personnel advisor Pat Stewart as New England prioritized a more collaborative approach in the personnel department.
