Cougars Sit 10th After Day 1 at Husky Invitational

BREMERTON, Wash. – Washington State Men's Golf shot back-to-back rounds of 3-over, 291, and were currently in 10th place before darkness halted play late in the second round at the 2023 Husky Invitational Monday, played at the par-72, 7,115-yard Gold Mountain Olympic Course.

Monday's second round was nearly complete with all but three teams having finished their rounds before play was called. WSU was one of 11 teams in the 14-team field to finish both rounds.

Senior Preston Bebich leads WSU at 2-under, 142, through the first 36 holes. Bebich shot an even-par 72 in the morning then followed that with a 2-under, 70, a round that included five birdies.
